 ABOUT PADRE'S
Padre's is a true Texas original, housed in a beautifully renovated 100 yr. old adobe building that was formerly a feed store, carriage shop and funeral home. Padre's is located in the heart of the funky, eclectic and diverse West Texas arts town of Marfa. Padre's features a hardwood dance floor, a fully stocked bar with an extensive tequila selection, an "ice house" style back game room with shuffleboard, pool, pinball, foosball, and two vintage jukeboxes, a big screen for cheering on your favorite Texas teams, live music, delicious food, and a comfortable outdoor patio with a fountain and fire pit, perfect for enjoying the great high desert climate. Padre's is a family-friendly facility that welcomes children as long as they are accompanied by a parent. Padre's does permit teens in the building unescorted until 8PM. After 8PM all minors must be accompanied by at least one of their parents. By Texas state law, everyone who enters Padre's must have, in their possession, a valid government issued ID.
Currently, Padre's is open for business Tuesdays at 4:30 PM and Wednesday through Saturday 11:30 AM until close (Midnight except for Sat which is 1:00 AM). We serve food, coffee, tea, sodas & cocktails all day long. The kitchen is open until 10:30 PM each night. We accept to go orders for foodservice as well; there is a 50 cent charge for to go orders. Call 432-729-4425 during business hours for to go orders or to pre-order food for group bus tours.
Padre's accepts cash, personal or business checks, and all major credit cards. Padre's has a daily happy hour starting at 3:00 PM (4:30 on Tuesdays) and lasting until 7:00 PM. All drinks (other than $2.00 drafts) are
$1.00 off during happy hour and we provide delicious free popcorn out of our movie theater popcorn popper throughout happy hour.
Parking for Padre's is in our big lot on San Antonio St (HWY 90) directly behind the building. We are handicapped accessible and welcome everyone.
Padre's has no formal dress code other than what is required by state health codes. in keeping with the heath code for foodservice establishments, we do not
permit dogs on the premises other than service dogs.
Padre's aggressively recycles all glass bottles, cardboard and aluminum cans that we serve. We use reusable plates and silverware for our food and take pride
